Well, simply put, we believe it is the best accounting solution for all our clients!

Even though there are so many accounting solutions out there, we have chosen to partner exclusively with Xero.

Why? We have had extensive experience with almost all accounting packages out there through our clients and we have found Xero to be the best there is to offer. Not just for our clients, but for Blue Emerald as well.

What’s so good about Xero, then?

 

Well, apart from a beautiful interface, there are plenty of features that make Xero stand out from the crowd.

Online Accounting

Unlike desktop accounting software, with Xero there is only one copy of your data and it is accessible in real-time to an unlimited number of users that you authorise. All users are looking at the same data at the same time. No longer does there need to be separate copies of your data for yourself, your bookkeeper and your account.

You can access your Xero data from any browser. It doesn’t matter if you use PC, Mac, Linux or any variation that is out there.

Daily Bank Feeds

Xero can automatically imports the transactions from almost all the banks, credit card providers, credit unions and others in Australia and many foreign banks as well. It can even have a feed from Paypal.

Communication & Support

Communicate directly from within Xero to your Trusted Advisor, such as Blue Emerald for specific transactions or general queries with your accounts.

Xero has a wide range of free online help, videos and webinars to help you learn and answer your questions. And Blue Emerald offers additional support to our Xero clients.

Security

With the same level of security used by banks for internet banking, your data can never be accessed by a third party without your permission.

And with automatic nightly backups and more, your data is safer than on your desktop or laptop. We know most of our clients don’t back up their desktop accounts software as much as they should. Do you?

Maintenance Free

With Xero there is no need to pay for software upgrades, support cover, yearly tax tables. The latest functionality is always available when you login. And Xero makes updates and releases new features approximately every 6-8 weeks.

Reporting that actually helps your business

Using the real-time basis of Xero, most of Blue Emerald’s fixed monthly packages include management reporting and analysis that can be used to target areas of your business and help it grow. Long gone are the days when you had to wait many months to receive  your reporting back from your accountant. You can have regular, relevant information at your fingertips.
